Finca El Naranjo, founded in 1920 between the Fuego and Acatenango volcanoes, combines family tradition with sustainable innovation. José Moreira, agronomist and custodian of this legacy, cultivates coffee under the shade of native species and harnesses hydroelectric power generated by the farm's streams. Thanks to the cool climate, the fermentation process is optimized by pulping the coffee the day after harvesting, resulting in vibrant and complex flavor profiles. Drying is done manually on patios. In addition to his commitment to quality, José cares for the environment and his community through forest conservation and the local production of milk and cheese.
